- Installed Dual Avidyne EX 500 MFD's, #1 EX500 MFD will perform all weather radar functions of the existing weather radar system and is interfaced to the existing WX500 Stormscope, SkyWatch 497, and the KGP 560 EGPWS. The #2 EX500 displays weather data from the newly installed Heads-Up Technologies XMD 076 XM Satellite Weather/Radio Datalink Receiver Installed Dual Garmin GNS 430W GPS/WAAS Navigation Systems with Garmin GAD 42 Interface Adapter Units. The #1 GNS 430W utilizes a newly installed Garmin GAD 42 to display its steering information on the pilot's RD 600 HSI and the 332C-10 #2 RMI. The RD 600 HSI is interfaced with the existing Sperry SPZ-500 Flight Guidance System. The #2 GNS 430W utilizes a newly installed Garmin GAD 42 to display its steering information on the RD 44 #2 HSI and 332C-10 #2 RMI. The RD 44 is interfaced with the existing Sperry SPZ-500 Flight Guidance System.

Thank you so much for the outstanding work you and your team did on our Citation. Over my 27 year career in aviation, it's the only project of this magnitude I've had delivered on-time and on-budget! I truly appreciate the complexity and sheer magnitude of the job and stand in awe of your work.
Your team was absolute craftsmen in every task from the removal of the old equipment and all of its wiring to designing, integrating and installing the new dual-every1hing Avidyne EX500 Multi Function Displays, Garmin 430W WAAS GPS, and Garmin GTX327 Transponders, and the Garmin GME Communication Panels.
I was especially impressed with a few people. In no particular order, please pass on my thanks to Michael for the care he took hand crafting the new instrument panels. Everything fit perfectly in a great layout! The same goes for Ed and Eric for the excellent job they did planning and integrating the components to maximize their capabilities and functionality. Of course, I'm probably neglecting others working behind the scene that deserve credit too - please share the glory.
We flew the test flight with complete confidence. Naturally, everything worked great. When the only squawks are side-tone volume adjustments, and what turned out to be 'pilot learning curve' items, you know it was done right. The next day, the plane was back in service (of course in more of your lovely mid-west IFR) with no problems. Oh, I almost forgot, thanks also for the outstanding after sales support. Specifically, your patient answers to the slew of questions I should have been able to find for myself in the product documentation.
From today on, Mayday Avionics is my Go-To Team for any avionics issues.
